Simon Glanville, Managing Director, and Rafal Gajdamowicz,
Executive Vice President, to lead Ugam's London operations
Mumbai based Research and Analytics leader, Ugam Solutions
has hired two London based data collection experts, Simon
Glanville and Rafal Gajdamowicz, to manage its new multi-lingual
delivery center in London, UK. Between these two recruits,
Ugam has captured over 30 years of international market
research experience.
The new office will feature an operations center designed
to execute the most challenging mixed-mode, multi-country,
B2B and medical studies while also serving as a management
hub for all Ugam telephone data collection efforts.
Simon has over 17 years of experience in Operations management
across a range of market Research activities. His career
has spanned roles at Harris Research, TNS, GfK and RONIN.
In his immediate prior position as General Manager of RONIN
in London for over 6 years, Simon oversaw the expansion
of the International CATI Centre to 140 seats operating
across more than 20 languages and 40 countries, all from
a single site. He worked with most of the Top 10 agencies
in general B2B sectors, and Healthcare in particular. His
tenure saw the development of multiple respondent panels,
pioneering work in online and mixed mode multi-language
studies, as well as the creation of an in house focus group
facility.
At Ugam's London center, Simon will be responsible for the
establishment of the multi language CATI & online research
centre and its coordination with Ugam's existing CATI Centre
in Mumbai. The 150 seat Mumbai centre will continue to conduct
English language B2B and consumer work and the two offices
will run on a single platform with a consistent set of software,
training and process standards, ensuring high quality output
at the most cost effective rates.
Rafal Gajdamowicz has worked in the Market Research industry
since 1993. He was most recently General Manager of RONIN
Corporation in London, with responsibility for research
design and management, methodology, sales and delivery.
He has also vast expertise in panel management of hard to
reach respondent types for studies across North America,
Europe and Asia Pacific. In his previous role as Research
Director Rafal managed a strong Research and Project Management
team experienced in delivering on some of the most difficult
multi-country research projects.
At Ugam, he will serve as the research expert. He will be
tasked with building a strong research and project management
team capable of delivering on research projects of all kind.
Experienced project managers will oversee all parts of the
project process from questionnaire design/advice through
to final data delivery. Rafal will be able to utilize Ugam's
formidable existing resources in survey programming, data
processing, charting/report writing and long established
coding and online hosting services.
